Stay tuned as we post regular updates on what's happening at Kingsley House & Mews!

OCTOBER 2025 UPDATE

On October 1st, all external lamp post bulbs were replaced with the same warm white tone and wattage. This ensures there will be no issues with bulbs during the darker months and provides a consistent tone and level of lighting throughout the grounds.

SEPTEMBER 2025 UPDATE

On 2nd September, the new rockery-style bait boxes were installed in fresh locations around the grounds by KeyHygiene. These are much more discreet and attractive than the previous steel boxes, blending into the landscaping while still doing their job. At the same time, the old Elis boxes were fully removed, completing our transition to the new service provider.

KeyHygiene also carried out a full survey of the grounds, and we are now reviewing their recommendations to ensure we keep prevention measures strong and ongoing.

Our landscapers, JC Curley, have recently given the back garden some much-needed care. They’ve cleared the flower beds, removed the dead box hedging, and carried out a general tidy-up. All hanging baskets, flower boxes, and planters have been emptied or removed for now. Fresh ones with winter flowers and greenery will be put in place towards late October/early November.

AUGUST 2025 UPDATE

Our landscapers, JC Curley, have been busy giving the gardens some much-needed attention. All hedges (including those in the courtyard) have been trimmed back to help them grow healthier and fuller. Over the coming weeks, you’ll also see new planting going into the planters, hanging baskets, and window boxes—front and back—along with a general tidy-up to keep everything looking fresh.

From Sept 1st, we’ll be transitioning our pest preventative controls to KeyGreen, having terminated our agreement with Elis. KeyGreen will be providing more frequent & comprehensive service as well as more appropriate pest boxes for a residential setting. The steel boxes will be removed and replaced with a rockery style box that will be easier on the eye.
